About
I build developer tools. Most of my recent work has gone into making agentic coding workflows cheaper and less noisy — which in practice means Rust, a lot of CLI plumbing, and measuring things people usually guess at.
The throughline is that I'd rather remove a cost than add a layer.
#What I work on
- Developer tooling. Command-line tools that take friction away instead of adding another abstraction. RTK is the current one: it filters command output before a model ever pays for it.
- Applied AI. The practical questions — cost, context budgets, and where models genuinely help versus where they just look impressive.
I write up the things that surprised me in Writing. The posts go deeper than the READMEs, and I try to include what I got wrong.
